Out and About

Looking for gifts for the boys.

But, I happened to find this bracelet for me instead. : )

Rainbow straight ahead.

Lots of eating and goofing off.

Yippee, we had a kitchen in our room!!!

Really, after taking so many pictures they tend to get a bit boring. Ya know, with just Doug and I it just didn't sound fun standing and smiling for a pic in the elevator, by a statue, by a picture. You get the picture (he he).

Our Hotel

How do you label Paradise Pictures?

Walks on the beach outside our hotel

Luau Night!

A gift.

Some precious friends gave Doug and I this wonderful gift of Hawaii. We, in the beginning, didn't even believe it and kindof pretended like they would forget they had mentioned it. But after the reservations were made, well ...we started dreaming. We had the most wonderful week!

Finally Hawaii!!!

This was the entryway of our hotel. We just loved where we stayed. Even after hours up and down the beach seeing all the other condos and hotels . . . ours was still the favorite!!!

Sollie turns 2.

Birthday doughnuts and Sollie was thrilled.

It was so fun . . .and it seemed he really knew what was going on. The chowed down on the doughnut the second after he blew out the candle too.

We are just plain foodies.

I learned to make artisan bread. These were even the first tries at it, so we have improved since then and put on a few pounds because of it too I am sure. You bring the soup and dessert and salad and drinks and we'll make the bread. He he.

The boys are helping with drying plums. Titus is our crack up--if you didn't know that.

Standing

Lukas surprised us all and started standing up in his crib.

The Fair

Another birthday

Zayin, we love you so dearly. This cake was your "gotta have it". Grandma made it happen for you. I can't believe you are 6 already. You are so wonderful. Love your outfit.

Blockade

Lukas is getting so big and he even broke through our blockade. He is just too smart. Just look at that smile.

Leaman Girls

Our favorite treat awaiting us in WA after our trip was the Leaman girls. Oh, how fun, how cute, how darling. What great summer memories. PLEASE COME AGAIN SOON!!!

Back home in WA

Lukas started out in the crib. And, Sollie's dream finally came true: the bunk bed. He sure makes himself comfy.

PF Changs

PF Changs is so good-- and it doesn't get better than being with family . . .except we were missing Greta and Bruce. And by the way, ya know taking one baby really isn't a big deal. After 5, it still feels like a date with just one-- just in case anyone was wondering, which I am sure you weren't. I also think I drank 5 diet cokes that night, and once the waitress heard I had 5 boys she gave me a free dessert. So fun.

Barbequed chicken

Lots of yummy barbeques . . .seeing as Dad is one of those that sees the quarters flying out the window if you are using the airconditioner and the oven at the same time. Yummy. OH, it tasted like home.
It was sure nice to have the boys under somebody else's feet for a change. What a great team grandma and grandpa are for sure.
