Last night we stayed up and made a master list of everything in the boxes...it's so fun around here. And free info: goodwill gives free boxes ( we nearly made daily trips). Oh, and nice friends give free boxes too.

Chairs

I do miss blogging. I had to jump out of the blogging world for sanity sake....and not that I am sane again,but here we go.
So I had to pick chairs. Ya know, not a big deal, right? But I only want to buy chairs once in my life, and I want everything in my life to reflect Christ in a way. I want to show the excellence of God's creation. I tried half the chairs in Olympia and beyond to find a good sturdy one that would hold up for the years to come. I want to show we can use even chairs to Glorify God and serve others. I hope The Lord lets me serve thousands of people using these chairs. I hope family is comfortable. I hope no one even notices the chairs because they don't draw attention, but serve a purpose. Although reading of the details God put into His tabernacle I do need to have order and beauty in every detail of our lives. Well, anyway here you have it: our chairs. 14 of them and imagine, we will still have to pull in a few more for having our dear friends Rogerio and Susan over ya know...but now on to the next item on list: a tea pot.

Having a good trip. I know I have so much updating to do, thanks for your patience!! We are in Mobile, AL. Doug is listening to Lawson and MacArthur while I'm chillin with the boys. Just wanted to remind you of a great Piper phrase that a friend reminded me of:

"He is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him."

We know as believers we are a part of the family of God. This month I have felt it. I have watched my church family huddle around one another and provide for its own. I have just been looking to God as He has used many of you to bless us. I thanked one new friend last week for a kindness and her reply was "well, its just a sweetness of being a part of the body of Christ". How sweet it is.

Cement table

Well I have heard of blogging as bragging...well, here we go. I did it!! I have wanted to make a cement table for years. I would like to thank my sweet husband for letting me pursue this, for helping make cement for me at 10:30 pm, for hauling it up the stairs with Joe, and for putting up with a few tears in between. I would also like to thank my children for finishing their schoolwork so I can go play and have fun for a few summer days. Thanks to my neighbor for the sander (you see after 4-5 of mine didn't work and 3 stores didn't sell the right sand paper...well, a table isn't that easy you know). Thank you to my mother-in-law who kept little fingers out of the way. Ok ok, I will stop...it's just a table, I know.
